New term for illegal aliens

According to this press release from the US Forest Service, the government is using a new term for illegal alien criminal. During a pot farm sweep of the Shasta National Forest, law enforcement agents popped an illegal when they discovered a field of almost 7500 marijuana plants. Here’s how the press release describes it:

On Friday July 9, 2010, a marijuana eradication operation was conducted on the Shasta-Trinity National Forest in Trinity County, south of Hayfork, by law enforcement agents from the U.S. Forest Service, Trinity County Sheriff’s Office Drug Task Force and the California Department of Justice, Bureau of Narcotics Enforcement.  During the raid, a U.S. Forest Service K-9 team located Gauldry Almonte-Hernandez, a displaced foreign traveler from Michoacán Mexico, who had tried to flee the area and hide while officers were performing entry into the marijuana garden.

A “displaced foreign traveler?” What? Huh? WTF? This makes it sound like someone who got lost, wandered over the border and decided to plant a pot farm. Just to clarify, the Shasta National Forest is in northern California – 690 miles from the Mexican border:

shastaDoesn’t sound like a “displaced foreign traveler” to me.

These “displaced foreign travelers” have been taking over large swaths of our national parks to grow pot. They set booby traps and use armed guards to make these places no-go areas for American citizens. This is just another example of PC-addled bullshit government-speak.
