Nanny state buffoonery of the day

Having fixed all that ails the country, the UK parliament is preparing to add yet another bureaucracy to inflict more soul crushing nanny statism on the beleaguered citizens of Britain. Now they want to protect everyone from “bad dogs” by requiring competence tests and special insurance for dog owners. I shit you not.

Every dog owner will have to take a costly ‘competence test’ to prove they can handle their pets, under new Government proposals designed to curb dangerous dogs.

Owners of all breeds would also have to buy third-party insurance in case their pet attacked someone, and pay for the insertion of a microchip in their animal recording their name and address.

What’s it going to take for these people to finally say, “ENOUGH?”
